Pinewood Derby

February 19,2009
The pinewood derby. Andrew's car got an award for the 'best hotrod', and Dallin's car got 'blue lightning'. They had a good time.

Dallin's car is on the left and Andrew's is on the right.

Andrew and Dallin showing off their cars, and Shaely ready to play with them (the cars).

Andrew, Dallin, and Brian Sanford ready to race them on the floor. They didn't need the track anymore. :)
Bruce and Patty Muir are Dallin's Wolf Den Leaders. This is them putting Dallin's bead on his shirt pocket (you can see it dangling down in the other pictures).

Here's Shaely running around with the big kids.

Here's Lydia chilling out on the floor eating animal crackers.

And here is Tanner eating yet another hot dog. I'm not sure which number this one is, but he had quite a few of them.

Tanner's 5th Birthday

January 1, 2009
We went to Jakob's parent's house for a New Year's get-together and to celebrate Tanner's birthday. We also celebrated his cousin Breanna's birthday. She turned 8 the day before (Dec. 31). I forgot candles and my mother-in-law was out so they got 1 big candle to blow out. I made a cake and mom made cupcakes and they all got gobbled up in no time. Tanner, for some reason, decided to eat a roll first.

Tanner's Bandaid

December 16,2008
OK, this is funny. I hope this isn't too embarrassing to post this. Tanner told me that he got a band aid himself for his leg. He had a few rug burns from sliding down his grandparents' stairs. I didn't think much of it until he was changing into his pjs that night. Then we thought it was pretty funny and had to take some pictures of him. The little band aid on the other leg is for the little owee and the big "band aid" is for the big owee.
