Ella's Baby Blessing

On Sunday, May 16, 2010, Ella was blessed. We figured it was a good day to do it since Jakob's brother Nate was here from Arkansas. Afterwards we went to his parents' house for dinner and family get-together. Ella - 5/14/2010

Birthdays and Things

No, that is not a stuffed animal. It is our poor cat wearing Shaely's doll's dress.

Pinewood Derby, March 11, 2010. Dallin's car came in 5th place and won a ribbon for best shark fin.

Shaely's 4th birthday, March 16, 2010. Her hair was finally growing long enough to do something with it.

Lydia's 2nd birthday, April 2, 2010. She was so happy to get that big doll.

Trip to St. George, Part 2

On Sunday after church we went to a place kind of like a green belt. It had trails that you can walk on, ride a bike, or a horse. It was perfect. If we walked a few more miles than what we did we could've saw indian writings, but we didn't have the time and we have already seen them before. After our walk we picked my mom up then headed for Bunkerville, Nevada, to visit with more family.

Shaely, Lydia, and I posing for a picture. I had to have some proof that I was really there. :)

I took a picture of this lizard mostly to show my boys back at home.

This is my cousin Oscar, in Bunkerville, holding Lydia. She wasn't feeling well and he was giving her a drink of water, which she loved.

Another cousin, Heather, that lives close by, in Mesquite, came over with her son to visit with us. This is Trevor and Shaely finally being buddies when we were getting ready to leave. They're about a week a part in age.
The kids waiting by the car while the adults kept talking. Trevor thought that he was going home with us. He wasn't very happy when he found that he wasn't.

Shaely and Lydia buckled up and ready to go back to St. George.

This is back at Deanna's house. Shaely just loved Deanna and Craig.

Trip to St. George

Last Tuesday, March 10, one of my mom's sisters passed away in St. George. On Thursday my mom, my brother Gary, his daughter Makayla, my two daughters and myself headed that way on a road trip. We stayed at my brother Keith's house in Farmington, Utah on Thursday night. Then Friday we stopped in Cedar City to visit my Uncle Guy and Aunt Annabelle (my dad's younger brother - the only brother still living). Then we headed to St. George. We dropped my mom off at her sister Rita's house, then we went to our cousin Deanna's house to unload our stuff because that was where we stayed.

I'm not sure what this place is called. You can hike around on these rocks. There is the 'narrows' for people to squeeze through if they are daring enough. We didn't go over there. We just hiked around, enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery.

The sun was setting. Notice the lighted 'D' (for Dixie) in the background

Here is another place we went to, on Saturday, over by hurricane somewhere. We came here to hike around and to look for fossils by the river.

Gary and makayla planning the best way to get down there.

We hiked to the right of the last picture until we came to the ledge again, where I took this picture. Lydia saw me and got all excited.
Shaely with her second cousins, Mallory and Makayle. I'm not sure how they spell there names.
Gary, Makayla, Craig, and Mallory ended up going down to the water and found lots of fossils. The rest of us went back to the car.
That evening we went to visit my Aunt Melva and Uncle George.

Lydia

January 19, 2009
Lydia loves peek a boo. I just had to get a picture of her in the action.

I also had to get a picture of her laughing. That would be Shaely jumping in front of her making her laugh.

Grandma Tanner bought matching dresses for Shaely and Lydia. I took this picture right before going to church.

Lydia Wide Awake

I had to take a few pictures of Lydia because she would not go to sleep. Instead she was acting all cute, smiling and giggling. This picture was taken on 10/16/08 after 11 pm.
